There’s no doubt about it, having clients that are laid back, full of fun, and radiating with love for eachother is what wedding photographers hope for with each wedding. Carinna and Jesse were definitely no exception. Their no frills wedding was wondefully intimate and personal and allowed their personalities to take center stage.

Despite the obvious photogenic nature of this couple, the church setting was challenging due to bad lighting and it’s utilitarian nature, but it was a challenge we welcomed. It helped us to improve our craft. Of course, it is usually preferred to have a beautiful setting with a plethora of natural light, but in reality this isn’t always the case. It’s up to us as photographers to get creative and know our equipment to make the most out of difficult situations.

After the ceremony, we took Carinna and Jesse to the Sierra Vista Public Library, a location we scoped out ahead of time. We love the angles and colors of the outdoor spaces around the library, and thought it would be a great location for this modern wedding. Jesse and Carinna were quite the troopers, bearing the heat, romping around the garden, and laying in the grass. Daryl practiced his rock climbing skills to get high above the couple, creating some unique angles that aren’t usually possible. We loved the outcome!
